Solution : Runtime Error # 429 - ActiveX Component Can't Create Object
Runtime Error # 429 - ActiveX Component Can't Create Object
For this error I recommend user to go to the Installer CD, and look for MDAC_TYP.exe in the "...\Support" folder (this way, user will don't need to worry about installing the wrong version of mdac_type.exe) and run it, it will re-install and fix most common components (*.DLL, *.OCX and *.TLB) such as ODBC ADO, DAO, EXCEL, etc, which also includes most core components to run Microsoft Access Database in Windows operating system. I recommended this method because it will make sure all the involved components are installed properly, rather than just fixing one problem.
